Position Highlights
As a Sales Support Intern, you will spend time getting familiar with insurance new business processing and the intricacies of back-office functions of an internal marketing organization. You will learn to complete the daily tasks of a fast-paced operations department and gain knowledge of the financial services industry while doing so. Intern hours will not exceed 30 hours a week.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Running Morningstar reports, advisor support, and case design to ensure accuracy of data
- Update advisor contracts to reflect current status.
- Complete daily tasks as assigned.
- Data Entry into the CRM system.
- Assist with internal projects as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools required, skilled in the use of a personal computer and specialized software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong follow through and sense of urgency, strong relationship building skills and problem-solving skills
- Handles multiple tasks easily and in an orderly fashion
- Demonstrates ownership of their work & the overall process
