Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Advisor Service Specialist to join our Impact Partnership Wealth (IPW) team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional support and service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in customer service, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Job duties:
- Input, review, and submit new account applications and service documents in the company database
- Communicate “not in good order” requirements to advisor office in a timely fashion
- Conduct follow up calls/emails to advisor offices and custodian when appropriate to ensure business is being processed in a timely manner
- Work with advisors, their staff, and internal staff/teams to ensure advisor and client account documentation is complete and on file
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise with custodians and other outside business partners to ensure accurate processing of advisor’s business
- Work with IPW staff to provide status updates and problem resolution
- Provide outstanding customer service when handling incoming and outgoing calls and emails to help build relationships between IPW and advisors
- Work with other internal divisions to ensure seamless initial and ongoing support of advisor’s offices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years customer service experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational skills: capacity to manage heavy workload while navigating a variety of competing, ever changing priorities
- Confident, professional, and articulate in written and verbal communication; ability to build a rapport with all personality types and all levels of staff
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member
- PC proficiency, ability to work on several platforms at once
- Ability to learn and apply specific industry knowledge
Desired:
- Prior experience working in either the insurance services industry or the financial services industry
- SIE, Series 7, 63/65 or 66
