By investing in these funds, clients can make tax-deductible contributions that grow tax free. Donor advised funds also provide a process for charitable giving that maneuvers rules or limitations that may be associated with direct giving.

If assets of the fund grow high enough, advisors are able to manage the assets on their own platform, along with the rest of the client’s wealth portfolio.

Donor Advised Funds represent an irrevocable gift of assets from the donor to the fund. Contributions made to the fund are irrevocable and cannot be returned or used for any other individual or used for any purpose other than grant making to charities. The gift is not an investment or a security.
